Play phenomenal restaurant that has good falafel, good salads, and good curries! Go here for good wholesome clean nutritious food! Get treated like a king or queen at this establishment because of the friendly staff workers, and also feel like you are in a wildflower metal in the middle of the countryside having no picnic lunch! Now awake can you find out that you are in the middle of a sub Urban campus!
This place is amazing! The best falafel I have ever had, wholesome flavored brown rice, legit tahini and Naan with apricot chutney. My family enjoyed the grilled chiled markey plate and the lamb gyro. The food is super fresh. The restaurant is family and locally owned. And they deliver!
I think I just found my favorite restaurant in Murray. Looking for something we hadn't had before, we decided to try The Willow Bistro. The menu was an odd mix of food from various nations/ethnicities. As an example of the variety, there was Naan, curry, spaghetti, grilled cheese, naked burrito, and a Reuben sandwich on the menu the evening we went there to eat. After much debate, we decided to have the Hummus & Falafel appetizer, Tropical Fruit Curry, and Spicy Fusion. The falafel ranks up there with the best I've ever had. The Tropical Fruit Curry was so amazing, I would drive from Paducah again just to have it. I tried my daughter's Spicy Fusion, which was a folded sandwich made of Naan with Lamb, jalapenos, sweet chili sauce, and other things. She loved it, and I tried it too, it was really good. The service was top notch. We arrived at 7:30 on a Friday (they close at 8:30), we were greeted with smiles and never felt rushed to leave. We left around 8:40, but two other tables were still occupied, sitting around and talking when we left, and they were not rushed to leave either. The comfortable atmosphere and vibe from the staff made this a very enjoyable experience.
Love!! Love!!! LOVE The Willow Bistro!! Both my husband and I tried it today for the first time. We got the guacamole w/pita chips yummy, then we both got a gyro YUMMY!! If you haven’t tried it then this is your sign to go and try it NOW!! We will definitely be going back Food was delicious, service was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect!!
Have been dining here for a long time now. Always delicious and excellent service. The wait staff are always so friendly, kind, and sincere. Yesterday I tried the marketplace falafel with Naan and apricot chutney. Perfect combo. So so good!
Splendid place. Loved the atmosphere & ambiance. Offers indoor & outdoor seating. I had the TROPICAL FRUIT CURRY rice plate... a sweet & spicy curry sauce cooked with tropical fruit, potato, onion, & carrot. I ordered mine with tofu but, you can order a meat. It was delicious and very flavorful! The fruit in it was perfect for a hot summer day. It was refreshing. 10 out of 10 would order again! Waitress was pleasant.
What a wonderful place to stop in today here in murray Kentucky. Very pleasant engaging service. Helpful with food choices since this was our first time. Interior neat, clean and inviting. Food hot, French press coffee delicious...gyros and soup of the day yummy!! Try them when in town...
